Walking

	For those with an active lifestyle there are many beautiful paths in woods and fields around the estate with plenty of mushrooms and berries. Perhaps an exciting encounter will occur with an elk, deer, hare, fox or forest bird. If you want to walk a longer distance you can follow the track Östgötaleden out to Fyrudden. The track goes by many interesting places with, among other things, croft ruins, memorials from our old cultural landscapes and scenic outlook points.   Fishing

	For those with a fishing interest there are several good options. In the Valdemarsvik bay there is perch, pike, Baltic herring, burbot, eel and the occasional salmon. You can also fish for perch and pike in Lillsjön, a small inland lake at 5 minutes walking distance from the cabin. Grilled perch with fried chantarelles is welcome!

  Bathing

	It is only 400 metres to a bathingplace with rocky ground at the Valdemarsvik bay. There are also several public bathing places nearby, for example Grännäs, Ekön och Sandgärdet. Ekön Located: 2 km E Gryt Landing stages/rocks, WC, playground, kiosk. Grännäs Located: 2 km SE Valdemarsvik Landing stages, diving tower, WC, sand bottom, lawn, playground, kiosk/restaurant. Sandgärdet Located: 0,5 km E Gryt Landing stage, diving tower, WC, bathing hut, sand bottom, lawn.

  Playing Golf

	Are you interested in playing golf? Play golf in relaxing surroundings. No lines to play, low greenfee and there is a golfshop and cafeteria. Lövdalen's golf course is located close by Gryt - about 10 km from Sandvik and only a few kilometres from the sea. The golf resort has 18 + 9 holes and is open from April to October.   For a slower tempo

	Sitting outside under the lime tree with a good book can be relaxing, and bringing a flora going out into nature botanizing can be an experience for both mind and body. Small birds of all sorts are present outside and a white-tailed eagle flying over the forest is not a rare sight.
