Sandvik is an estate on the coast beautifully located at the Valdemarsvik bay close to woods and fields. You can rent a cabin here short-term or long-term.
The distance to Valdemarsvik is 3 km and there you'll find stores, restaurants etc. At 5 minutes walking distance from the estate there is an inland lake, Lillsjön. There you can fish for perch and pike and you can borrow a rowing boat. There are plenty of berries and mushrooms on the grounds and several forest roads for walking. A marked track passes by the estate if you want to take a walkabout to the port of Fyrudden.
There are also several bathing places close by as well as a fine golf course for those interested. For a longer day-trip there are several options such as the island of Harstena, Astrid Lindgren's World or Kolmården's zoo.
